Faculty Positions in Organizational Behavior
|

The Organizational Behavior Group in the College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking to hire two faculty members with expertise in Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Successful candidates need to complete their Ph.D. by August 15, 2009, and have evidence of strong research skills and productivity.
We have excellent academic programs at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels. Salary and a teaching load of three semester courses per year are competitive with leading research universities. There are opportunities for involvement in executive programs.

| Faculty Positions in Finance |

The Finance Area in the College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking candidates for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor, starting fall 2009. For one of the two positions, we are looking for a candidate with teaching interest in the area of fixed income. We seek candidates with excellence in research. Successful candidates must complete their Ph.D. by August 15, 2009. Salary and a teaching load of three semester courses per year are competitive with leading research universities. We will begin reviewing applications July 1, 2008.

Georgia Tech’s College of Management is, when considering MBA programs in all business schools, ranked 29th by U.S. News and top 50 by Business Week, and top 25 in Forbes among public schools. The College of Management (COM) is housed in a new, state of the art facility, which is part of the $260 million building complex of Technology Square in midtown Atlanta (including in addition to Georgia Tech’s Business School, the GT Conference Center and Hotel, the Global Learning Center, the Economic Development Institute, and the Advanced Technology and Development Center (ATDC), one of the leading business incubators in the United States). It includes Ajay Kohli, the incoming Editor of the Journal of Marketing, and Naresh Malhotra, who is ranked among the Top 5 most productive marketing researchers. While the marketing group has diverse research interests, a key focus is on the development and commercialization of high-technology products and services.
