Dr. Alexander Oettl joined the strategic management faculty in 2009. His research interests include technology strategy, the economics of innovation, knowledge spillovers, labor mobility, and human capital. His current work looks at the impact that high performing individuals, or "stars", have on the performance of their peers.
Dr. Oettl's research has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies, profiled in the New York Times, and presented at top business schools around the world.
