Han Zhang is an associate professor in Information Technology Management. He is also an affiliate research faculty member of the Center for Research in Electronic Commerce
at the University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on economics of information technology, online trust related issues and intermediaries, online payment methods, and the evolution of electronic markets. He has been invited to give lectures at many prestigious universities in China such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Zhang has won several awards including the Outstanding Teaching Award as an assistant instructor (1999) and the prestigious University Continuing Fellowship (1999-2000) at the University of Texas at Austin.

He has taught courses at the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels and has taught in Executive Education programs. Currently, he teaches database management and electronic commerce at the Georgia Tech College of Management.

Dr. Zhang's research work has appeared in various academic journals including Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, and Information Systems Frontiers
