Brian is a PhD candidate in Operations Management at the Georgia Tech College of Management. He has over 20 years experience as on OM practitioner, mainly as a manufacturing manager in primary metals and automotive assembly.
Brian's research interests are in operations strategy, the financial/market value of operations strategies, sustainable operations, and supply chain management. His dissertation is titled Essays in Environmental Operations. The first part of the dissertation is a normative modeling approach to analyze the sharing of product take-back responsibility between echelons in a supply chain. The second part of the dissertation is an empirical investigation of the impacts of environmental performance on the market value of the firm.
Brian has taught three sections of the core undergraduate course Operations Management (MGT 3501). His teaching interests include Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Operations, and Quality Management.
