This workshop will focus on proven methods for improving influencing skills which are a core leadership competency. Effective influencers get valued resources, maintain and build relationships, and gain people's trust.

Key Content Areas
• Understanding the five major influencing styles
• The principles of influence that are universal across cultures
• Methods for establishing credibility through expertise and relationships
• Understanding the "dual concerns" model for conflict management
• Proven methods for analyzing individual preferences for particular strategies and to diagnose the likely level of conflict that will occur
• Conflict management techniques including avoiding, accommodating, competing, compromising, and collaborating
• Proven tools to prevent miscommunication and an in-depth discussion of negotiation best practices.
