Computer Support
IT Services supports the installation, configuration, operation, and recovery of all MGT-owned computers through the IT Services help desk. Requests can be submitted in person, by phone, by email, or by web form. Note that tickets are prioritized based on impact to user's ability to work. For example, a network problem will generally take precedence over a speaker problem.

Printer Support
IT Services also supports the installation, configuration, general operation, and recovery of all MGT-owned printers through the IT Services help desk in much the same fashion as computers. However, we have outsourced toner management – that is, stocking, delivery, installation, recovery & recycling, system cleaning, and physical maintenance – to NC Office Solutions.
For general operational concerns, like "I can't print" or "Is my printer connected OK?," please contact our help desk. However, for toner replacement or a physical problem with the printer, please contact NC Office Solutions using these guidelines:
• To access the printer service request form, use the following information:
Login - gtech
Password - gtech
• Once you're logged in, select the "Place a Service Request" link on the left-hand
side of the screen.
• Use the printer ID# located on the sticker of the printer in question.

Software Installation
IT Services manages the software licenses and their installations for the College of Management. Please note that software should only be installed on an MGT-owned computer by IT Services personnel, which may be requested through the help desk. If you need to have software that is not owned by the College of Management installed on your MGT-owned PC, please be prepared to provide licensing evidence to IT Services to keep on file. These steps are necessary to protect the systems and environment, as well as address auditing concerns.

IT Purchasing
All IT related purchases should be requested through the help desk by submitting a request online via the Purchasing Request Form (coming soon). This is critical to allow IT Services to be able accurately assess the environment it is supporting, as well as to make sure that purchases are consistent with the college’s architecture and the user’s needs. All requests should include a project number or a dean’s authorization to bill general funds.
