Members of Georgia Tech's Net Impact chapter recently dedicated a Saturday to help a local Atlanta family realize their dream of home ownership.

Built in partnership with students at Agnes Scott College, The Westminster Schools, and Columbia Theological Seminary, the house was dedicated on October 19.

Net Impact members plan to assist with another Habitat project in the spring.

"The Georgia Tech Net Impact club works to educate and raise the awareness of students about the importance of sustainability and corporate social responsibility," says MBA student and Net Impact leader Charity Winslow. "Partnering with Habitat for Humanity is a great way to show our students how they can help the community after graduation."

Net Impact is an international network of graduate students and young professionals using the power of business to effect positive economic, environmental, and social change. The establishment of Georgia Tech's Net Impact Chapter in 2005 coincided with the business school's growing emphasis on corporate social responsibility, and sustainable, environmentally friendly business practices.
