Core Courses
The Evening MBA core courses emphasize teamwork while providing a solid academic foundation that incorporates an emphasis on global technology management. The series of MBA core courses provide a strong basis for your electives.
Some MBA core courses may be waived based on past academic coursework, professional experience, or a waiver exam. If you qualify to waive an MBA core course you will replace that course with an elective.

Electives
Once you master the basics of the functional areas of business, your elective courses will emphasize collaboration and cross-disciplinary perspectives. You will choose 24 hours of graduate electives related to your career goals, including one international elective. Electives may be taken in any combination of areas, and you may design your own concentration based on your career interests and personal needs.
The electives you select may be interdisciplinary rather than segmented along traditional departmental lines. For example, you could build a concentration area completely within the College of Management, or select electives from other departments at Georgia Tech. We don't want you to feel constrained by your selection of electives and encourage you to think creatively about how you can best devise a program of study that will meet your long-term professional goals. College faculty members and the Graduate Office staff are happy to advise you in developing your own unique concentration.
