What are the application deadlines for the MBA Program? Application deadlines for the Full-time MBA program are:

How can I apply? In order to apply to the College of Management, you must submit an online application.

What materials must be on file before the application is considered complete and can be evaluated? A complete application includes the MBA application, Georgia residency form, essays, an official transcript from each college/university attended, three letters of recommendation, and TOEFL/GMAT scores. International applicants who are applying for a student visa must also submit financial documents. All information can be submitted. For more information view the online application.

I may not be able to get all of my application materials in by the deadline. What should I do? Applications completed after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.

I am scheduled to take the GMAT or TOEFL exam(s) right before the application deadline, so I won’t have my official scores in time. What should I do? You may include your unofficial scores on your application form as well as submit a copy of the unofficial scores. While an official decision cannot be made until we receive the official scores directly from the testing service, we can begin processing your application with the unofficial scores.

When and how will I receive the admissions decision? You should receive the admission decision within six to eight weeks after your application is complete. Decisions will be mailed to the address provided in the application and can also be emailed to the email address provided in the application upon request. Decisions can never be given over the phone or faxed.

Do you accept the GRE in lieu of the GMAT? No. For consistency in evaluating applicants, we use only the GMAT. The GMAT is the exam designed to measure success in graduate management programs.
The GMAT must be taken within five years of our receipt of your application. If your GMAT score is older than five years you should plan to retake the test.

Are applicants to the MBA Program required to interview?
Yes, applicants are required to interview, however, they are by invitation only. If you are selected for an interview, an admissions representative will contact you to schedule. Interviews give you a chance to emphasize your interest in the MBA program and discuss the contributions you believe you can make to classroom and group discussions. Interviews also provide an opportunity for you to get a better feel for the MBA program and how it may help you achieve your goals.

Does the College of Management accept applications for the spring semester? For the Full-time MBA program, applications are only accepted only in the fall semester each year. The Evening MBA program accepts applications for the spring and fall semesters.

Can I complete the MBA program on a part-time or distance-learning basis? The Full-time MBA program is a two-year, full-time program only. The Evening MBA program follows an evening format, allowing working professionals to complete their studies without interrupting their careers. There is no distance-learning option for either MBA program.

How do I learn more? — Attend an on-campus Information Session:
Full-time MBA Information Sessions are held at the College of Management year-round. Attending is a great way to meet students, admissions staff, and faculty members while learning important program information. Evening MBA Information Sessions are also held at the College of Management throughout the year and typically are held concurrently.

. We schedule campus visits year-round and Full-time MBA class visits during fall and spring semesters. Evening MBA class visits are also available during the summer semester.

Unable to visit us in Atlanta? Georgia Tech participates in many national MBA conferences and fairs. Refer to this Website frequently to learn about upcoming MBA events. The fall 2009 schedule will be available in early August.
