"After four years of marketing experience, I was ready to take the next step in my career. In looking at both my short- and long-term career goals, I felt that an MBA degree was essential to moving forward because it will allow me to move into corporate strategic marketing in a faster time frame than I would otherwise.
In my first year, I completed industry projects for several notable Atlanta companies, including The Home Depot, Equifax, and Nova Information Systems. These projects allowed me to make professional contacts while adding to the learning and experience that is important to my career goals.
The Career Development office has been extremely helpful in providing well-planned opportunities for students to interact with potential employers. The Mentor-in-Residence program allows students to meet with corporate executives from some of Atlanta's largest and most well-known companies in order to be mentored in their chosen field. In addition, the high caliber companies who recruit at Georgia Tech offer very competitive internships and full-time positions to our students."
