The Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) prepares students in the full range of intermediate and advanced business areas of finance, operations management, information technology management, strategic management, marketing, entrepreneurship, international business, and e-commerce.
Core Courses
The BSM curriculum consists of 82 semester hours of required courses involving foundation courses such as accounting, mathematics, statistics, and economics. Students also complete humanities, social sciences, and laboratory science courses as required of all Georgia Tech students. Electives
Thirty-eight additional hours of electives plus two hours of Wellness complete the curriculum requirements. The elective categories are excellent areas in which a student might select to place courses chosen for certificates, concentration, or minors.
Management Electives
Courses with the label Management and not required specifically elsewhere in the curriculum for a total of 18 credit hours.
Non-Management Electives
Courses taught by Tech other than the College of Management and not specifically required or used elsewhere in the curriculum for a total of six (6) credit hours.
Free Electives
Courses taught by any department/school/college at Georgia Tech and not required or used elsewhere in the curriculum for a total of 14 credit hours. Please note: Courses taught by departments/schools other than the College of Management and taken by a BSM student in fulfillment of the student's professional aspirations may be used to fulfill only non-Management and Free Electives.
