Flexible, but specialized Curriculum
The Georgia Tech Bachelor of Management (BSM) degree welcomes both students who have already decided the type of business career they'll pursue and those who are still exploring. Students are encouraged to explore many career paths before making a final decision.
- The undergraduate program includes an introductory course for each discipline in business. After completing these courses during the first and second years, students then choose to specialize in one or two areas of business.
- A list of business certificates a student can complete as a part of the BSM major are listed here.
- The curriculum also offers many free elective and non-business classes so students can pursue double-majors, minors, and certificates in other disciplines at Tech.
For example, within four years a student could complete a major in management, certificates in finance and marketing, and a minor in psychology. This still leaves three summer terms available to participate in a study abroad program and two internships.
Social and Recreational Opportunities
With more than 70 percent of students living on campus and engaging in our rich history and tradition of Division 1 athletics, student organizations, and Greek life, our students quickly find a diverse group of friends and student clubs that help them call Georgia Tech home.
- Georgia Tech has more than 350 student organizations. Management students are usually the leaders and the most involved with these organizations, since they see these activities as excellent opportunities to develop leadership skills and team experience attractive to future employers.
