Cooperative Program
Students seeking to gain significant work experience during the undergraduate program should consider participating in the Cooperative Program (Co-op). The Co-op program helps students secure multi-semester work experiences in areas related to the student's career interests. Students participating in co-op alternate semesters between work and academic study. In addition to building a strong resume, this experience assists students with financing educational expenses. Georgia Tech offers many study abroad and exchange programs to enable students to study in other countries for one or more semesters. Other study abroad opportunities are available through some of the programs housed in the College of Management. Georgia Tech now offers the International Plan degree designation with the Bachelor of Science degree in Management. The International Plan is a degree-long program designed to develop global competence through completion of internationally focused courses and intensive language and study abroad experiences. Georgia Tech undergraduate students have many opportunities to participate in research with faculty across campus. Students may earn course credit or salary for their work.
